Het enige nadeel van eboeken is dat je ze niet zomaar kan meenemen op reis of naar je zetel zoals je met een normaal boek zou doen. Tenzij je natuurlijk graag de hele tijd met een laptop in je handen zit…
Daar komt weldra verandering in want nu zijn er de eReaders. eReaders zijn kleine draagbare schermpjes met een kleine harde schijf waar je eboeken kan naar uploaden vanaf een vaste desktop computer.
Een eReader maakt boeken lezen op scherm wel zeer aangenaam. Amazon.com lanceerde al de eerste eReader Kindle maar eind dit jaar komt ook Japans elektronicamerk Sony uit met een eReader.
